The first order of business is the Practice Round to hone your skills, which starts at 9:00 am and goes until 1:00 pm on July 7th, 2011 at the Red Deer Golf & Country Club. The practice round is not included in your entry, please contact Trevor to book a tee time if you wish. After the Practice Round head up to the Stag Night to enjoy an evening of great food, camaraderie and prizes!
The tournament will commence Friday with all participants playing two (2) nine hole matches in a match play format. Winners of the second nine hole match will play a third match to establish flight and consolation finalists. For players eliminated from flight play a horse race will be available.
On Friday night we will be holding our Tail Gate Party in the parking lot of the Red Deer Golf & Country Club. The ladies from the Oil Wives tour will join the Oilmen for the festivities. There will be a BBQ featuring a selection of grilled hot and cold foods, salads and desserts, music and a street dance. The dress will be casual, bring your gal, the party goes rain or shine, under the stars or under the tent.
Saturday will see the flight finalists play an eighteen (18) hole match with the balance of the field playing in the 4 Man Scramble event. The tournament will close with a greenside awards presentation and a casual social gathering in the clubhouse.
